Back to stock
After 20,000 miles with the Lancer Sportback Ralliart, we had to part ways.  All in all we had a great time with the car during this past year.  It saved us gas compared to the Evo and still had enough punch to leave a fair share of cars in the dust.  It was definitely roomy and came in handy for location shoots, track days and family outings.  We had a chance to drive some

Changing the hood
Changing the SEIBON carbon hood back to the stock aluminum hood is a fairly easy process.  It's just basically nuts and bolts on the side hinges.  The only thing is to make sure the windshield washer nozzles are attached firmly so they don't pop out and fall.  [img_assist|nid=10279|title=|desc=|link=none|align=center|width=580|height=433]

Back to the stock suspension
We changed the KW Suspensions back to the stock system.  It raised up the body at least 2 inches so now I don't have to worry about bottoming out at ramps and drive throughs.  On the other hand, the KWs gave the car a much more better handling feel and quickness on turns.  I miss them only when I want to go fast.

Galant Fortis Sportback Ralliart
Sort of a confusing branding decision but our car, the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Ralliart is actually the Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Sportback Ralliart in Japan.  The gave the "Lancer" title only to the "Lancer Evolution", thus giving this Lancer Sportback no name.  So they upscaled the Lancer in Japan as the Galant Fortis.
