If you’re gonna charge $100k for an almost-30-year-old Honda, it had better be special. And the Honda you see right here, is incredibly so.

The Honda NSX represents Honda at its best, and was incredibly innovative for its day. It was the first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminum body. Engine and suspension components are also made from aluminum to help shave weight. None other than Ayrton Senna was brought in to help fine-tune the handling.

The drive, as you can imagine, was nothing short of breathtaking. With its innovative C30A VTEC engine, double-wishbone suspension and sublime handling, Honda’s NSX set the new standard for supercars. The NSX was so good, none other than Gordon Murray himself used the NSX as the benchmark for one of his own sports car designs – a little car called the McLaren F1. Maybe you’ve heard of it.
