$400k Nissan R35 GT-R Special Edition Speculative Rendering

Our very own Otaku Ninjas caught wind that Nissan is possibly working on a special edition R35 GT-R. Now, that on its own isn’t Earth-shaking news as Nissan has done special edition GT-R’s before. However, what makes this particular instance special is that the car is rumored to be a “final edition” meant as a send off for the R35 GT-R as Nissan gets ready for the next-gen Skyline. This final edition R35 GT-R is rumored to have 720 horsepower and cost a whopping $400,000! We posted this speculative rendering based on what his “Otaku Ninjas” think the Final Edition GT-R will look like. What do you think of it? Do you think it will actually happen or not?

Tavarish drives a bare chassis McLaren 675LT with no windshield on the street

Alright, we know that title sounds a little crazy but let us explain. Freddy Hernandez AKA “Tavarish” has gained a massive following on YouTube by purchasing supercars in significant levels of disrepair and bringing them back to life. One of his projects is a salvaged McLaren 675LT that he was told would never run again. Well, he managed to get it running again and couldn’t wait to give it a quick “spirited” test drive. The only problem is the car was still stripped down to it’s bare frame and didn’t even have a windshield. As you might have guessed that didn’t stop Tavarish. You can watch the video yourself to see how well that drive actually went.

Jon Sibal renders Nissan 400Z as a Super GT race car

If you’re on this site right now then we have to assume that you’ve heard of legendary automotive artist Jon Sibal. Jon can turn around absolutely incredible photo-realistic renderings of existing cars and cars we wish existed at the drop of a hat. So, last week when he dropped this absolute gem on his Instagram page we had to take notice. Jon took the Nissan Z Proto AKA 400Z and used his artist wizardry to reimagine it as a Super GT race car complete with competition-spec widebody. Then just to give it a casual touch he placed the car at a local gas station getting a fill up in a piece he called “Pit Stop”. Jon, we will forever be jealous of your limitless talent!

Hoovie’s Garage imports rare Ferrari from Dubai but it gets damaged on the trip

Tyler Hoover AKA “Hoovie” wanted to seek out the cheapest Ferrari 456 GT he could find. He definitely found it...in Dubai! The 1994 Ferrari 456 GT was collecting dust in someone’s private collection with only 6,150 miles (9,900km) on the clock! Before that the car had spent its whole life in Japan. Hoovie was able to import the car to America thanks to the 25 year rule which we’ve talked about before. However, there were some other issues. After spending nearly $6,500 in fees just to get the car here, the Ferrari suffered some internal damage along the way. The fuel pumps died due to the car being driven on a near-empty tank by transporters and the brake sensors were mysteriously damaged as well. Luckily, everything was fixed in a cheap but unconventional way. The fuel pumps were replaced with units from a Kia Rondo and the brake sensor was replaced from a Chevy Suburban! This is an episode you’ll definitely want to check out.
