With more than 90 different Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZs at this year's Tokyo Auto Salon, it was hard to keep track of them all. One of the more impressive ones was this white mean machine from noted Toyota tuner Tom's. This FR-S-based sports car has serious engine mods to match the suspension upgrades and body kit. The engine is a 3.5-liter V-6 that puts out about 400 bhp and 332 lb.-ft. of torque (impressive, how they squeezed that big motor under the hood). With that much power in such a lightweight chassis, you need some serious rear tires to make sure the car hooks up at launch. Special Brigestone Potenza S001 225/40R18s answer the call. It would be interesting if the Tom's tuner car can keep up with a GT-R in a straight line. Maybe we need to find out... (Photos by Kenny Nakajima)
