Evasive Motorsports and Dai Yoshihara are once again competing in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on August 30, 2020(Sun). Dai and team took the Toyota 86 for a testing day to prepare for the event.

Dai takes the car out for the first time since November to warm up the car and get a feeling of some of the new modifications done to the Toyota 86. The front splitter breaks on his first hot lap. Dai and Evasive Motorsports will be entering Pikes Peak in the Unlimited Class on 8/30/20.

Dai is reminded how crazy fast the Evasive Motorsports Toyota 86 is. So fast that it broke the front splitter off. Now the crew will attempt to create a stronger  way to fix the splitter.

Dai breaks the splitter again because the car is so fast it creates enormous down force.

Dai and team try to balance out the Evasive Motorsports Toyota 86. Since the front grip is produced by the enlarged front splitter, now they may need a bigger rear wing to balance it out.

Dai and team work to create more rear down force to stabilize the Toyota 86 in the final laps of the testing day.
