We had the opportunity to tag along with Jimmy Jones on race day to see his new 2015 Silverado 3500HD in action. With his enclosed race trailer and dragster in tow, this Peters Elite dually had no problem maintaining highway speeds all the way to the track. Loaded with convenient tow mirrors and the rear backup camera, trailer hookup was a snap and made for effortless preparation for the day at the track.
This build features the Duramax/Allison engine/trans combo rated at 397HP/765TQ and capable of hauling 20,000lbs at the bumper. A Cognito Leveling Kit was installed, along with Fox Shocks, 36" Nitto Terra Grapplers on 24" powder coated American Force Wheels. Amp Powerboards and LED Taillights were also added.
