Apply anti-seize to to each collar for lubrication and prevents galling on steel.

Apply Anti-Seize to Collars

Your collars kit should come with corresponding numbers to the subframe. Test each collars to make sure they fit.  .

Pre-Test Your Collars

Support the cradle with some type of stand. If you don't have stands, loosen and remove each bolt once at a time. Start with the front of the car.

Support the Cradle with a Stand

Start with loosening the middle bolt, then proceed to the longer bolts in front and behind. Once the subframe has been lowered slightly, remove bolts completely using a power tool.

Remove Frame Bolts

Slide rigid collars between the chassis and the subframe.

Slide Rigid Frames In

Lift the subframe back up, making sure all the collars are secured in place and bolts will line up to the holes.

Life Frame Back Up

Apply anti-seize on bolts to prevent stripping in the hole. Re-attach bolts tightened by hand.

Re-attach Bolts

Once bolts are in, torque them to your manufacturer's specs.

Torque Bolts

Start by bracing the rear suspension and re-apply the previous instructions to inserting the collars for the rear.
